Leah lost yet another tooth tonight. This was her fifth one in three months! Three on top and two on the bottom--needless to say her speech has been affected.
This particular tooth, top right (when looking at Leah), has been loose for quite some time. Leah has been complaining of her tooth hurting while she is eating the past couple days so I checked it and it seemed loose enough to pull it out tonight. I tried but it didn't pop right out like the rest and Leah got anxious so I stopped. It clearly was hanging by the proverbial thread. Matt read Leah and Aaron their bedtime books and then we tried Round 2.
Matt was prepared to try the old "pull the tooth out by yanking on a string." After tying a loop in the dental floss, he was trying to put the floss around the tooth and it just popped out.
Matt and I are hoping that some of Leah's permanent teeth come in soon otherwise Leah will be eating a lot of applesauce and oatmeal for a while.
