It's currently 4:08am and I am watching the US-Japan gold medal match for women's soccer at the 2012 Olympics. I am happy to report that the first 20 minutes have been very lively, which will help me to stay awake. I am definitely going to need a nap during Aaron's "quiet time" today....
It sounded like a good idea, last night, to get up so early this morning to watch the game live. I've tried taping them before but hard to watch after knowing the results and hard in this digital age not to find out the results. Plus, I figured if I could get up at 4:00am last year to watch Prince William get married, I could get up at 3:45am to watch a re-match of last year's World Cup final.
The Navy Exchange (NEX) has this Coca-Cola display up for the past 3-4 weeks.
Did they predict the US-Japan rematch? If you don't know, the player in blue is Japan's Homare Sawa, who scored the tying goal in the World Cup last year to send the game into penalty kicks. The player in white is the US' Abby Wambach. Incidentally,
USA Today had a really interesting article on Abby Wambach prior the the first US match which talked about not only her motivation but her respect for the Japanese players:

Well, too much action to write now. Go U-S-A!
Great article on Abby!
